At DMV Birth Doulas Collective, our services are designed as private, high-touch experiences tailored to meet the unique needs of each family. All services are 100% out-of-pocket, allowing us to provide intentional, uninterrupted, and personalized care without the limitations of insurance-based models.

While we do not directly accept insurance as a form of payment, many of our clients have successfully received reimbursement from providers such as Cigna, CareFirst, Johns Hopkins EHP, and UnitedHealthcare. Upon request, we provide detailed, itemized invoices with dates of service to support submission for potential reimbursement. We also work with specialized benefit providers such as Carrot Health and WIN Fertility. We are NOT in network with Medicaid.

To secure your services, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking. Please note that all payments are final and non-refundable, as they reserve your care, availability, and access to our team.

Our Plans & Packages are thoughtfully structured to provide elevated, concierge-level support across fertility, birth, and postpartum care—ensuring you receive a seamless and supported experience every step of the way.

Please note that doula support services are educational, emotional, informational, and support-based in nature. Birth outcomes, labor progression, hospital policies, provider decisions, medical interventions, induction timelines, cesarean births, precipitous labor, and other clinical or hospital-related circumstances are outside of our control and do not qualify for refunds.

Client satisfaction is important to us, and we encourage open communication throughout the duration of services so that concerns may be addressed in a timely and professional manner. However, dissatisfaction based upon subjective experience, labor outcome, communication style, hospital course, timing of labor progression, or circumstances outside the scope of doula support does not invalidate the services rendered or contractual payment obligations.
